An opportunity to come and have a hands on experience during the season (April to September, for the 2022 season) Meet in the bee room and learn about our equipment and process to produce our jars of honey and creamed honey. Put on one of our suits and head out to the apiary where Matt will talk through the layout of the hive with you. Then it’s your chance to have a go at inspecting a hive and carrying out any additional tasks required for that hive too! We’ll make sure we get some action shots and a nice photo of you in front of the apiary before you leave and if course, you’ll get a jar of honey to take with you too! sessions usually take place on sundays at 2pm, but please contact for other availability.. all sessions are subject to weather and we advise you to wear long sleeved tops, trousers and bring wellies. Sessions are limited to 3 people.
